Leah Lang-Gluscic is an Advanced level three day eventing rider and trainer based in Ocala, FL, and Freeport, IL. LLG Eventing is Leah's business endeavor focused on achieving her goals of competing at the four-star level. Leah is interested in running a lucrative business that is first and foremost concerned with horsemanship and the development of effective and knowledgeable competitors and horses. This combination of interests stems from Leah's personal background.
As a student at the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, CT, Leah competed through the Preliminary level before graduating and going to college, at which time continuing with competition was not fiscally feasible. During her four years at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Leah earned a degree in Finance and Accounting. However, even during this rigorous education, Leah found time to compete in the IHSA, exercise foxhunters, and bring along young event horses. After two years working as an investment banker at a prestigious firm in Washington, D.C., Leah decided to follow her dream of combining her passion for horses and business. With the purchase of the LLG Eventing facility, Leah's pursuit of competing at the four star level and operating a successful equestrian business has begun. Leah's experience includes eventing through Advanced level, schooling through Fourth Level dressage, qualifying for the Rolex 3 Day 4**** Event in 2015 & 2016 with A.P. Prime and finished 33rd in 2016. She currently trains with Kathryn Barry, Peter Gray, Jonathan Holling, and Jennifer Rousseau. She has ridden with George Morris, Anne Kursinski, Greg Best, Mara Depuy, Denny Emerson, Christine Traurig and Joe Meyer.
